Set in Montebello, halfway between Gatineau and Montreal, Manoir Papineau is a page straight out of 19th century history that opens right before your eyes, the grand estate of Louis-Joseph Papineau, the man who was to become a leading figure in Canadian politics.

Immersive guided tour of the Manoir-Papineau for adult groups, including:

  • guided tour hosted by a Parks Canada interpretive guide of most beautiful rooms of the manor
  • the rules of etiquette in high society houses in the 19th century, the art of tea at the Papineau
  • tasting of tea and pastries

You will be greeted at the manor as guests would have been back in the 19th century. Your host will first take you on a tour of the manor before inviting you to the sumptuous Salon Bleu where you will be served tea and treats from the prestigious kitchen of the Fairmont Le Château Montebello.
