Les Amis du canal de Chambly presents La série du Canal, a friendly 5-kilometer race series for all types of joggers in the region.
Get a timed race, a beverage (beer of juice) and a friendly atmosphere for only $5.
Departures are from Lock 9, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

The greatest brewing gathering in Quebec, Bières et Saveurs de Chambly’s festival is committed to be a showcase and a development vector for local microbreweries, vineyards, cider works and producers.
Each year, for 4 days, 60 000 visitors gather at Fort Chambly National Historic Site, near the Chambly Canal, to discover the products of over 110 exhibitors from all across Quebec.
Music shows, a circus scene, cooking demonstrations, conferences and the renowned Grande Brasse, lead by Jeff Boudreault, make Bières et Saveurs de Chambly an absolute must in terms of late summer festivals.

In a festive atmosphere, the Défi Je Bouge (only in French) offers three types of challenges: a 5, 10 or 21,1K run recognized by the Quebec Athletic Federation (Fédération québécoise d’athlétisme), a 5 or 10K walk and a 20K bike ride for the whole family.
This year, profit will be given to the orthopedic department of the Haut-Richelieu hospital. A 1K run is also organized for children as well as a 1 km walk for persons with mobility impairment.

Mountain Equipment Coop (MEC) has a challenge in store for you: line up in the Chambly Canal’s Parc des Ateliers for a 5 km, 10 km, or 21.1 km run, as well as a 42.2 km Boston qualifier marathon.
Open to all categories of runners, from beginners to elite, this event will enable you to discover the Chambly Canal in all its glory.
