Briefly describe your background.

History studies and interest to PC to make it alive through people. Always had positions with people contact. Since 1997, working for the Visitors Services of our historic sites. One of my favorite aspect of my job is the team work and having to keep an open mind to others, visitors or colleagues.

What are you most proud of? 

To have preserve my authenticity and remained aligned with my values. Contributing to help people grow and myself by the same token has also make me very proud!

What has helped or served you the most in your career?

My sense of humor and creativity! Without it, I’d be quite lost. If you find a way to innovate in fulfilling the mandate even when the work frame gets more rigid, you express your creativity.

What advice would you give a young woman?

It is always worth it to be yourself. It can be hard sometimes, but always beneficial in the long run. There is also the right mix between being yourself to guide you and stay open to your environment at the same time.

Briefly describe your background.

My choice of career was greatly influenced by my parents' passion for boating and my childhood boating vacations.I’ve been through the locks of the Chambly Canal multiple times and I discovered the job of lock operator. I started as a student 17 years ago. With a high interest for my job, I got involved in its different aspects. I have been a lockmaster for 8 years now and I am very happy about it.

What are you most proud of? 

Making many of my dreams come true, not waiting for the "right moment" and staying true to myself. 

What has helped or served you the most in your career?

The desire to learn more and the strive to better myself. It is important to question yourselft and listen to people around you.

What advice would you give a young woman?

Don’t be scared of the others look and trust yourself. We can achieve great things. Don’t wait until it is too late.

Briefly describe your background.

After a 17 years career as an aeronautical structure engineer, I decided to dive into a completely different field as lock maintenance and Technical Services agent. I had lost the spark where I worked and the company’s values did not align with mine anymore. At 37 years old, leaving your stability is a massive challenge but so motivating at the same time!

What are you most proud of? 

Being the first female Technical Services Team Leader fill me with pride.

What has helped or served you the most in your career?

Without any doubt, my desire to succeed and my integrity.

What advice would you give a young woman?

Trust and be indulgent to yourself. Remain authentic.
