    Woodside National Historic Site presents a traditional Thanksgiving in the Victorian Era. The boyhood home of William Lyon Mackenzie King is decorated for the harvest season. Assorted autumn fruits, vegetables, and grains are beautifully arranged to make colourful centrepieces. What better place to prepare for your Thanksgiving meal than by stepping back into 1891.

    The estate will be ablaze with fall colours, perfect for a picnic, an afternoon stroll, or picture taking. Explore the site at your leisure and enjoy crafts and special activities.

    We’re back with a brand new murder mystery to unravel! Enter a time when the tools of investigation relied on keen observation and sharp wit. Catch the killer before they strike again! This is a classic “who done it?” with a historical twist! Explore the historic house while uncovering clues and interviewing suspects with hopes of finding the guilty party. Prizes to be awarded for some and fun to be had by all!

    Maximum 30 people per show. Each show is subject to minimum enrollment. If a show does not meet the minimum enrollment 10 days before the event, the show will be cancelled and those who have booked will be provided with the option of other available shows.

    For two days only, experience a Christmas adventure through time with the Live History theatre group! Experience Christmas in a new way as Woodside’s incredible historic house brings historical theater to life! Live History returns to Woodside with a brand new interactive theatre experience. Work together to solve puzzles and unravel the story as you are guided through the richly decorated rooms by entertaining characters from the past.

    Please note: Woodside is open to visitors from 9 am to 11 am, before the Live History performance begins.
