Douro Dam at Lock 24 Replacement | Peterborough
Douro Dam at Lock 24 is a concrete dam that was constructed over 90 years ago. This project will include the design and construction of a new dam. This will eliminate leakage and make it safer for operators to make water level changes, ultimately improving water management capability on the Otonabee River.


Sawer Creek Lock 25 Concrete Repairs | Peterborough

In spring 2017, the replacement of the lower lock approach walls and additional concrete repairs to the lock chamber was completed at Sawer Creek Lock 25.

Sawer Creek Dam at Lock 25 is a concrete dam that was constructed over 80 years ago. This project will include the design and construction of a new dam. This will eliminate leakage and make it safer for operators to make water level changes, ultimately improving water management capability on the Otonabee River.


Lakefield Lock 26 Concrete Repairs | Peterborough County

Work on the lower lock approach walls and concrete decking at Lakefield Lock 26 is now complete.


Lovesick Lock 30 Rehabilitation | Peterborough County  

Lovesick Lock 30 is one of three remaining masonry locks on the Trent-Severn Waterway. Masonry repairs to the lock structure were undertaken in 2016-17 to preserve this important waterway asset. 


Buckhorn Lock 31 Rehabilitation | Peterborough County  

This project will involve repairs to the masonry of the lock structure including grouting and re-pointing. Buckhorn Lock 31 is one of three remaining masonry locks on the Trent-Severn Waterway.


Mississagua Lake Dam Replacement | Peterborough County  
In December 2017 the new dam at Mississagua Lake was commissioned. The new dam was built immediately downstream of the previous dam, that was demolished and removed. 


Burleigh Falls Dam at lock 28 | Township of Selwyn

The Burleigh Falls Dam at Lock 28, originally built in 1912, will be rehabilitated. Work will include concrete repairs on the piers and deck, improvements to the stability of the dam and its extensive southern retaining wall, and optimization of hydraulic capacity.
