    Meet guides dressed in period costume from the 1940’s as you explore Canada’s Wartime kitchen. Learn what’s for dinner, what is being rationed, recycled, and the volunteer efforts on the home front to help the war efforts (included in the tour of the site).

    Open 7 days a week in July and August, closed Tuesday and Wednesday in the shoulder season.

    Political cartoonist Josh Silburt presents: Mackenzie King’s Final Act!
    This exclusive exhibition includes original artwork by Josh Silburt, which were featured in newspapers across the country in the 1930s and 1940s. Josh Silburt’s cartoons frequently caricatured Prime Minister Mackenzie King, or his policies, and touched on subjects of local, national, and international importance.
    Come see Allan Silburt’s curation of his father’s art from political cartoons to landscape portraiture! Exhibit will be on display in a special wing of the historic house.

    Enhance your visit with a tour behind the barriers and don white gloves to handle original artifacts that once belonged to Prime Ministers Sir Wilfrid Laurier and William Lyon Mackenzie King. Enjoy this exclusive 30-minute VIP experience, in addition to your visit to Laurier House with a close up look at priceless artifacts.

    Offered on Fridays in June, July and August.

    Come and enjoy afternoon treats on the picturesque verandah of Laurier House. Sip tea and indulge in treats on Saturday afternoons between 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in June, July and August.

  • Fact or Fiction Evening Tour– an evening full of fun!

    Gossip, scandals and scantily clad puppies! One of those things is not part of our Fact or Fiction evenings at Laurier House. Which one? You decide. Compete against your friends in an evening of outrageous fun where no secret is off limits. This highly interactive, non-traditional museum night is designed with entertainment in mind, light refreshments provided. Learn much more than what you remember from your high school history. Come discover the secret lives of some of our most beloved prime ministers.
    Your tour will begin at the Allsaints, Working Title Café (across from Laurier House) where your guide will meet you as you indulge in a wine, beer, or specialty crafted beverage before your tour.

    Tour to begin at 6:30 p.m.,
