Political cartoons and landscapes of Josh Silburt.
Political cartoonist Josh Silburt presents: Mackenzie King’s Final Act!
This exclusive exhibition includes original artwork by Josh Silburt (1914 – 1991), which were featured in newspapers across the country in the 1930s and 1940s. Josh Silburt’s cartoons frequently caricatured Prime Minister Mackenzie King, or his policies, and touched on subjects of local, national, and international importance.
Come to see this fascinating selection of Silburt’s political cartoons, portraits and landscape paintings curated by Allan Silburt (son of the painter) and Debora Antoncic of the Riverbrink Art Museum.

Second World War Homefront-Canada’s Kitchen – Costumed interactive vignettes

June, July and August: Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

What’s for dinner!? A housewife will welcome you into her kitchen for a chat about rationing, her work at the factory, and her worries for friends and family at war.

Live History Presents: A Séance In Time.

August 15th, 16th and 17th
Shows at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. (French show on August 16 at 4:00 pm.)

Join King, his medium, his military adviser, and his household staff as they prepare to contact the other side during a harvest moon séance. However, all is not well upon your arrival. The Crystal ball is missing and the house is in chaos. As the appointed hour grows near, you will join the fray to help King and his household before it's too late. Lives are at stake; history could be changed. Time is running out. Will you make the difference?
