  • Regency Ball

    Step back in time and experience the grandeur of the Regency Ball with its empire waist dresses, top hats, exquisite dancing and live music! Regency costumes or business attire are appropriate.

    Doors will open at 7:00 pm with live music and dancing beginning at 7:30 pm.

    Karen Millyard, a professional dance instructor, will be on hand to lead the dances. No partners or previous dance experience required. Included in the cost of a ticket to the ball is an afternoon workshop for beginners that will be led by Karen and will go over the basic steps of Regency dance! 

    This festive evening will also include light fare, a cash bar, door prizes and more!

    Meet us at the skating rink for the coolest March Break ever! Weather permitting, the rink will be open all week long, with helmet and skate rentals available every afternoon and evening during weekdays and all weekend long. Fort George will be open on Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 4 pm, with free admission for youth 17 and under.

    Monday to Thursday
    10 am to 12 pm – open skate
    1 pm to 4 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm – supervised family skating, with helmet and skate rentals available

    Friday
    10 am to 12 pm – open skate
    1 pm to 4 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm – supervised family skating, with helmet and skate rentals available

    Saturday
    10 am to 1 pm, 2 pm to 5 pm, and 6 pm to 9 pm – supervised family skating, with helmet and skate rentals available
    12 pm to 4 pm – Fort George is open, with free admission for youth 17 and under

    Sunday

    Did you know that Fort George was used as a military training base during the First World War? Join us as re-enactors from across North America bring Camp Niagara to life with demonstrations and displays honouring those who fought in the "war to end all wars." The weekend will feature First World War infantry drills, tactical demonstrations, local museum displays, assault course demonstrations and competitions.
