Every year on Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend, thousands of visitors from China, along with Chinese-Canadians make a pilgrimage to the site in Gravenhurst to pay their respects to Norman Bethune and to tour and enjoy the internationally famous fall colours in Muskoka and Algonquin Provincial Park. You can be a part of this tradition and see our site at its busiest! Bethune Memorial House admission and programs will be available on a first-come-first served basis and we will have extended hours of 9:00AM to 5:00PM for all three days. But be sure to make any local accommodation or tour reservations well in advance, as Muskoka will be especially busy that weekend!
