Would you enjoy testing your investigation skills and returning safe-and-sound to your own bed? The September 9 Evening Experience offers a taste of the macabre in a historic setting. Get the spine-tingling stories from the Haunted Louisbourg Tour, and participate in the investigations facilitated by the ghost-hunting experts, all before the stroke of midnight when you are able to return home for the night. On September 10, the Overnight Experience offers a full evening of activities as well as camping inside the fortress walls. Begin your evening with a check-in to your campsite. Investigators will offer an introduction to ghost-hunting, including a sample of their previous findings. Hear stories of shipwrecks, battles, and executions on a Haunted Louisbourg Tour, then enjoy some “spirits” in our period-style tavern. Begin your investigations as darkness falls, and finish your night by campfire-light and sleep in a modern tent (if you can!).
