Imagine holding your event in a venue steeped in Halifax’s rich heritage. Set atop the city’s highest point, you’ll find a 19th-century fort with Victorian-era charm, and breathtaking views of Halifax’s picturesque harbour. You’ll also enjoy modern conveniences and friendly, attentive staff ready to help you create a memorable occasion.

Business meetings, galas, weddings, concerts, receptions, even product launches or retirement luncheons - the Halifax Citadel can accommodate virtually any gathering year-round.

Add a costumed 78th highlander, solo piper, rifle firings, drill show or include a guided tour as part of your event. Together with our partner, the Halifax Citadel Society, we can help you distinguish your event from the rest.
