Remembrance Day

On Remembrance Day (November 11), the Halifax Citadel and Army Museum will be open from 10 am to 2 pm. Masks are required inside the Army Museum and visitor centre and wherever social distancing is not possible.

The year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the Victory in Europe and the end of the Second World War. In recognition of this momentous year in history:

- Visit the Army Museum to view artifacts and read first-hand accounts from soldiers.
- Witness Halifax Citadel animators dressed in uniforms from the Second World War.
- Explore the Second World War "Storm the Beach" D-Day experience.
