Some Parks Canada places have begun a safe, gradual reopening of some outdoor areas, services and facilities. Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and be well-prepared for their visit. Find details about what's open and what's closed at Signal Hill National Historic Site here.

Signal Hill rises above the Narrows separating St. John's Harbour from the Atlantic Ocean's winds and waves. On a clear day, the harbour and cliff-side ocean views can take your breath away.

Reach the site by car from the city’s east end, on Signal Hill Road, and plan to spend 1 to 3 hours here. Call the Visitor’s Centre before you visit to ask about the Signal Hill Tattoo program, Noon Day Gun ceremony, guided tours and seasonal events.
