The Blockhouse

The building houses a small collection of reproductions dealing with the Blockhouse's military history.

Lookout

The site's waterfront location gives outstanding views of Passamaquoddy Bay, which flows into the Bay of Fundy. Here the tidal range varies between five and seven meters.

Accessible facilities

The Blockhouse's first floor is accessible. The grounds (with on-site exhibits) are accessible over gravel pathways.

Parking

There is parking for cars and limited RV space available on-site, about 30-40 meters from the Blockhouse. Bus parking is possible along the roadside.

Washrooms

There aren't any washrooms on-site, however, facilities are available 150 meters away in Centennial Park.

Our efforts at serving schools and other educational groups are limited to on-site visits. Please contact the site to arrange a visit.
