Photography, Painting and Sketching
The site's dominant views over the surrounding countryside make it a venue often favoured by photographers and artists, particularly those interested in landscapes.

Meditation and Reflection
The site's sweeping panoramic views of the countryside, the Bay of Fundy, the Tantramar marshes and the centuries-old dykes is a perfect venue for reflection and contemplation. Relax on one of the site's benches or atop the fort's bastions and experience the natural and cultural history.

Bird Watching
Birders may be rewarded with a sighting of a wide variety of marsh birds, including Northern Harriers, Bald Eagles, Short –eared Owls, Red-Winged Blackbirds, a wide assortment of sparrows and many other small meadow birds. Fort Beauséjour-Fort Cumberland's proximity to the Bay of Fundy offers opportunities to view, not far from the fort (mid-to-late summer) shorebird species such as yellowlegs, semipalmated plovers and semipalmated sandpipers.
