Discover the red chairs at Riel House – an ideal spot to reflect upon the life and works of a man who helped shape western Canada - Louis Riel, a founder of Manitoba.
The view from the red chairs also offers a glimpse of the history of communities on the prairies. In 1886, the Riel family farm stretched from the Red River to the Seine River according to the traditional Métis river lot system. Today, you can still see evidence of those settlement practices.
It’s time to connect! With history - with friends and family.
