The seasonal lockage permit allows you to go through any lock system that is part of Canada's historic canals. The seasonal mooring permit allows day and overnight mooring at seven national historic canals, two national parks, and one national marine conservation area.

Site access is free. However, fees apply for boating services. Fees vary depending on the site, the number of locks to pass and boat length.
Permits are valid in all Parks Canada waterways and canals.
You can buy them online, or at the lock stations.
