Information for National-Cost Sharing Program for Heritage Places applicants and recipients related to COVID-19:

In light of current events, particularly the recent cancellations of events, temporary closure of businesses, and the necessary movement to participate in social distancing, the National Cost-Sharing Program for Heritage Places would like to reaffirm the government’s support for all the people affected, directly or indirectly, by the coronavirus.

To ensure the health and safety of its personnel, the National Cost-Sharing Program for heritage place’s team is working at a reduced capacity and our service standards will be affected. For those who have applied for funding for the 2020-2021 year, a date for confirming funding decisions has not been set. The Program will reach out to applicants with any updates as they arrive.

For updates on COVID-19, consult Canada.ca/Coronavirus.

Please note that the call for project proposals for 2020-21 has ended and that requests for funding are no longer being accepted. The next call for project proposals will be announced on this Web site.

The information below concerning the Program is available solely for reference purposes.
