Pointe-Noire Interpretation and Observation Centre

Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park

Nestled in the cliff at the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord, the Pointe-Noire Interpretation and Observation Centre is a little hidden gem that offers a spectacular view of the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park. It is also the ideal place for a picnic and to observe belugas and minke whales in their natural habitat. Talk to guides who are passionate and learn more about the marine protected area and the protection of belugas and other species at risk.  

The place is perfect for a stopover with a view of the sea.

Directions

By car
Take route 138 to Baie-Sainte-Catherine located in the Charlevoix region. Look out for brown road signs.

Arriving from Quebec City, the centre is located 1 km before the ferry dock to go to Tadoussac.

Free admission for youth. Other fees may apply.
