A short film featuring archive images tells the story of a lighthouse keeper and his family who lived at the lighthouse station.
To this day, the lighthouse and its far-reaching beam are a beacon of safety for navigators travelling the St. Lawrence River. Indigenous peoples inhabited this place well before us, as showcased by a scene of the seal hunt.
Curious about how to differentiate between whales you might see on the horizon? The most common species are represented in 3D and to scale.
