Ocean encounters

Children and adults alike will be filled with wonder as they learn about the world of marine animals. Did you know that the sea cucumber is an animal? Would you be brave enough to touch one? During this activity, taking place on the rocky shore, the knowledgeable guides will show you the animals that live on the seabed, including starfish, spider crabs, sea urchins and more fascinating creatures. The ups and downs of the sea shore

This activity presents the biological adaptations of algae and animals that live between low and high tide. Tide permitting, visitors are invited to go beachcombing in search of diverse life forms. The activity takes place at low tide. (Offered in French only).
