As our last Centennial Theme Month, December and its Protection and Conservation theme give us a great opportunity to show you how our team contributes every day to our country’s future. In the last 100 years, Parks Canada has committed to caring for our natural and cultural treasures, as well as supporting efforts of others in the same sense, and it continues today. As we mark our centennial and the great milestone it represents, we are reaffirming our care, commitment and support to our national treasures so they continue to amaze the generations that will follow us.

Protection and conservation are a daily and continuous work at Parks Canada. From refurbishing a roof and giving it the appearance it once had to protecting the nesting grounds of endangered species, our experts work relentlessly to provide Canadians and the world with opportunities to better know Canada, today and tomorrow. Follow us in a familiarization tour filled with images that illustrate this immense yet gratifying work we do in protection and conservation at Parks Canada.
