• Funding for the Lake Superior NMCA is subject to a Federal/Provincial agreement and the provision of funds by Parliament.
• The budget is based upon an NMCA model applied throughout Canada. Within the model, adjustments are made in the distributions and expenditures based upon local needs and circumstances.
• The views of the Management Board will play an important role in these decisions.
