Rafting down the Alsek River, a Canadian Heritage river, is quickly becoming one of the most popular activities in Kluane National Park & Reserve. Starting on the Dezadeash River, an upper tributary of the Alsek, rafters can enjoy the wilderness of glaciers and grizzlies with minimal disruption. There are commercial companies who offer 3 - 14 day trips down this spectacular river.

The Alsek River flows through Kluane National Park & Reserve in the Yukon, Tatshenshini-Alsek Provincial Park in British Columbia and Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve in Alaska.
