Info-Nature Mauricie is associated with La Mauricie National Park and the Forges du Saint-Maurice National Historic Site since 1982. The non-profit organization participates in various ways in the park’s activities, by making the public more aware of the importance of protecting environmental and heritage resources, by promoting the discovery and appreciation of the natural and cultural heritage and by managing the Wabenaki and Andrew Lodges and gift shops.
The Canadian Ski Patrol System (CSPS) is a charitable organization which promotes safety and injury prevention, mostly in ski areas. At La Mauricie National Park, in summer and winter alike, volunteers certified by CSPS patrol in paths and on lakes and are present during special events to ensure visitors’ safety and to provide first aid and first care.
