Canoeing

Mauricie National Park, in partnership with LocationCanot.com, offers you the opportunity to rent a boat so that you can explore the park by water. Some 30 lakes are directly accessible from the Parkway or through a network of canoe trails.

The park has three boat rental sites:

  • Shewenegan Picnic Area
  • Wapizagonke Picnic Area
  • Lac Edouard Picnic Area

Boats

Whether you are going out for an hour, a half day or a full day, Locationcanot.com will have a rental boat that meets your needs:

  • Canoe
  • Light canoe
  • Single kayak
  • Double kayak
  • Stand up paddle (SUP)

Visitors camping or canot-camping at the park can rent boats for several days.

Fees and Reservations

Boat rentals include: 

  • Life jackets
  • Safety kit
  • Paddles

ID is required for equipment rentals.

Group rates are available for groups of youth between the ages of 6 and 16 who are renting at least 5 boats (minimum of 10 people).
