Eligibility conditions

To be eligible to the following student jobs, you must:

  • be registered as a full-time or part-time secondary school, college or university student in an approved educational programme in the current session (winter 2024);
  • or be taking part in a secondary-level adult education or retraining programme run by an accredited educational establishment in the current session (winter 2024);
  • have reached the minimum age required for employment in Québec.

Student jobs available in Forillon

Environmental, conservation, restoration, and management

The person will have to identify animal and plant species in coastal, marine and forest environments. The person will be required to travel in the backcountry as part of various resource management projects. The person will have to carry out data management using various means of transport in terrestrial, coastal and lake environments, entering and validating the data collected as part of various projects such as the monitoring of the lobster harvest, the monitoring of fish communities (electrofishing), the monitoring of the vegetation of various forest stands, etc.

Two (2) positions available: one will be granted to an Indigenous student or to an Indigenous person aged 30 or under.
