Darkness falls early during the winter at Point Pelee National Park. Soak in the stillness of the night sky while observing the Geminid meteor shower. Here's your chance to relax during a hectic holiday season. Get lost in the starry skies late into the night. Park remains open until midnight.

Wondering what the owls of Point Pelee National Park are up to? Discover who, who, who’s out there on an evening adventure with a park interpreter. Enjoy the fresh winter air, the peacefulness and dark skies of Point Pelee National Park as you listen for their alluring calls. Learn about the world of the mysterious owl.
Bring the whole family to this invigorating nighttime adventure and stay late on January 30 for star gazing when the park is open until midnight.
Family Day Fun!
February 15, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Visitor Centre
Chase the winter blahs away over a roaring fire, complete with roasted marshmallows! Bring a mug for hot chocolate and your favourite song or story to share. Connect with family and friends while making crafts or playing games. If snow conditions allows, join in our snow sculpture contest! Will you create a classic snowman or push the limits with something truly out of this snowy world? Whatever the weather, bring your creativity and smiles!
