Sciensational Ssnakes
July 30 – 31

Are you curious about the secret lives of reptiles? Interested in where they live or what they eat? Point Pelee National Park is pleased to welcome Sciensational Sssnakes!! which provides hands-on education about reptiles and amphibians to audiences of all ages. Their presentation will include information about the animals, their ecology and conservation issues as well as a session in which participants are able to interact, touch and hold the animals. The team will be on hand with a variety of reptiles, some of which can be found in Point Pelee National Park.

Spotted Knapweed Pull

Perseid Meteor Celebration
August 12-13

We’re staying open all night to view the peak of this annual meteor shower. Kick the night off with a local moth expert and see what amazing species he’s able to attract – you’ll be surprised just how colourful some moths are. Join members of RASC at West Beach later in the evening and enjoy the meteor show. Park open all night between August 12 and 13.

Sunset Paddle in the Marsh
August 20
Paddle starts at 7:30 p.m.
*Pre-registration is require for rentals and tours with park interpreters.

Did you know that the marsh is one of best locations in the park to view the sunset? Join Windsor-Essex Canoe Club, Pelee Wings Paddlesports and Parks Canada for an early evening paddle through the marsh. Rent a canoe or kayak, paddle with park interpreter or bring your own boat.
