-Plegadis falcinellus (Linnaeus)
Bill slender, long, downcurved whit a groove along either side. Skin around and in front of eye, bare.
Adult: mainly rich chestnut with greenish and purplish iridescence on crown, back, rump, tail, and wings. Bare skin in front of eye bluish.
