-Icteria virens (Linnaeus)
Adult male: Upper parts, including wings and tail greyish olive-green; no wing bars or tail patches; stirpe from bill back over eye, spot under eye, and stripe from base of bill back over jaw, white; rest of sides, head greyish green becoming slaty or blackish in front of eye; throat, breast and under wing coverts birght yelllow; rest of under parts white, tinged on sides and under tail coverts with buffy grey. Adult female: Similar to adult male but usually duller in colour, the yellows less bright, the dark area in front of eye more greyish.
