Crown chesnut with narrow yellowish line in middle of forehead; back and scapulars greyish olive brown, narrowly streaked darker; lower rump and upper tail coverts yellowish olive; two indistinct buffy wing bars; two outer tail feathers on each side with white patch at end of inner web, occasionally a small white spot on third; yellow stripe over eye; cheeks and sides of neck greyish brown; throat, breast, and under tail coverts bright yellow, the sides of throat, breast, and sides of body narrowly streaked with brown; abdomen whitish or family yellowish; legs olive brown.
