Crown, cheeks and throat black; broad stripe over eye, small patch under eye, broad stripe between cheeks and throat, and the sides of the neck yellow; back, scapulars, and rump olive green spotted or streaked with black; outer two tail feathers with inner webs mainly white, the next with less white; two white wing bars; breast yellow (but black of throat extends to upper breast); sides yellowish streaked with black; belly and under tail coverts white.
