Top and sides of head and hind-neck dark slaty-grey; eye-ring and lores white; back, rump, and upper tail coverts olive green; two white or yellowish wing bars; tail blackish with olive-green edging except the outermost feather on each side, which has narrow white edging; under parts mostly white, the sides and flanks yellow mixed with olive green; under tail coverts usually with yellowish suffusion; iris brown; legs blue-grey.
