-Passerina cyanea (Linnaeus)
Bill conical, its ridge convex. Adult male: blue all over, the head more purplish; wings and tail dusky edged with blue. No wing bars. Adult female: upper parts olive brownish, the back sometimes lightly streaked, the rump sometimes with a greenish-grey tinge; wings and tail dusky, narrowly edged with greenish; greater wing coverts and tertials edged with cinnamon-buff; under parts dull buffy-whitish with some olive-buff on breast and sides, the greast faintly streaked with dusky greyish-brown. Some individuals have a few blue feather in the plumage.
