-Ammodramus savannarum (Gmelin)
Adults: Top of head mostly blackish, finely streaked with buffish or greyish and with a broad median stripe of greyish buff; rest of upper parts mixed with greyish, buffy, chestnut and black, the black most apparent on back and scapulars; hind-neck greyish, streaked with chestnut; wings dusky, edged with buffy grey; lesser wing coverts greenish yellow; bend of wing bright yellow; tail dusky, edged with buffy grey, the outer tail feathers paler than the inner ones; sides of head buffy, yellowish in front of eye, with a narrow dark streak extending backward from eye; under parts buff, paling to whitish on abdomen; bill pale bluish with dusky ridge; legs flesh colour.
