Crossbill, White-winged (Local Rarety)
-Loxia leucoptera Gmelin
Adult male: General colouration variable red, scapulars area across back, wings and tail black, the tertials tipped with white; two conspicuous white wing bars; mid-abdomen and flanks greyish, the latter streaked with dusky; under tail coverts blackish with grey margins. Adult female: Wings and tail as in adult male; elsewhere mostly olive green or greyish streaked with dusky, the rump clear yellow; breast and sides washed with yellow and streaked with dusky; rest of under parts grey streaked with dusky.
