-Empidonax flaviventris (Baird and Baird)
Adults (sexes alike): Upper parts greenish olive; tail deep greyish-brown; wings blackish, the middle and greater coverts tipped with pale yellowish or whitish (forming two wing bars), and the secondaries margined with same; eye-ring pale yellow; under parts, including throat, pale yellow, the chest decidedly tinged with olive; wings linings pale yellowish, decidedly yellow on bend of wing.
Young: Similar to adults but wing bars slightly buffy, yellow of under parts paler, the upper parts duller.
