In typical adults the dark areas of the wing tips are blackish with a pale-greyish or white tongue on the outermost primary closely approaching (or joining)a long white tip; and on the next a similar pale tongue usually joins a large white area near the tip. Mantle averages darker grey. Irides extremely variable, dark to clear yellow but in average more heavily speckled with brown. Legs pinkish flesh to decidedly pink.
