Duck, Tufted (Provincial Rarety)
-Aythya fuligula (Linnaeus)
Similar to Ring-necked Duck but the male Tufted Duck's drooping crest separates it. Females and eclipse males lack the light eye-ring of the Ring-neck and usually show less white at the base of the bill. The wing stripe of the Tufted Duck is white in all plumages.
