Rail, Yellow (Local Rarety)
-Coturnicops noveboracensis (Gmelin)
A small short-billed buffy rail, similar in outline to the Sora. Breast buffy, throat light. Back marked with fine white crossbars. Separable from Sora by white tips of the secondaries and by fine white crossbarring on back (Sora has white longitudinal stripes). Downies are black but differ from downy Soras in lacking orange bristles on throat.
