No matter what the March weather may be, there is always a very noticeable migration of birds. March is the month when the great flocks of blackbirds, robins, geese, swans, ducks, gulls and mourning doves first arrive. The arrival of migrants in March is highly dependent on the weather; listed below are the long term averages:
