Enjoy a picnic under a canopy of trees! There are several picnic areas located in the park and all have washrooms, shelters, picnic tables, grills and vehicle access. Most are a short walk from the beach. White Pine is a year-round picnic facility with a wood burning stove and hydro and is available to rent for such events as family reunions or birthday parties. Call the park for reservation.
The feeding of any animals, such as deer, raccoons, birds and fish, is strictly prohibited. Avoid the danger of being bitten and acquiring diseases, and minimize your effect on the park's ecological balance.
Bringing firewood into the park or collecting firewood from the beach or forest is also prohibited. Use charcoal in the barbeque pits. Charcoal is available for purchase at the Marsh Shop and Canoe Rentals at the Marsh Boardwalk.
