We offer different campsites for your different needs.
- Drive-in campsites at Cyprus Lake up to 6 people; adjoining campsites available.
- Group sites ideal for groups of 12 to 35 people.
- Backcountry camping along the shoreline at Stormhaven and High Dump.
Pack your sleeping bag, food and cooking tools and enjoy this high-comfort low-fuss camping! Sleeps 4-5, heated by woodstove, fireplace and BBQ on deck! Guided programs are available for 2.5 to 3 hour exploration excursions. Recommended for grades 7 to 12, these hikes can accommodate up to 60 students.
Escarpment Explorer HikeYou’ll jump, crawl and climb along the Niagara escarpment shoreline learning about the unique geology of this area and the incredible plants and animals that eke out a living in these beautiful and harsh conditions.
Full Fathom Five HikeBook your trip with the private tour boats in Tobermory and your group will travel over shipwrecks and around islands before arriving at Flowerpot Island. Exploration of the island includes stops at the world famous flowerpots and a step back in time with a visit to the historic light keepers house.
Singing Sands HikeSandy dunes, limestone alvars, bogs and cedar forests provide a range of habitat that hosts a colourful display of flora and fauna. Wildflowers, birds, carnivorous plants, rare orchids and snakes - truly a Naturalist’s paradise.
Medicine WalkA walk through South Cameron Lake forest with a First Nations perspective on aboriginal uses of plants for food, medicine utilitarian and ceremonial purposes.
Self Guided Hikes
Do It YourselfWith a visitor map in hand, you can lead your group to the Grotto by following your choice of 3 trails, take your group to discover the rugged cliffs of the Bruce Trail from Halfway Log Dump or hike the Burnt Point Loop from the Visitor Centre. There are some great hiking adventures from easy to challenging that will suit your group’s needs.
My Parks Pass BookletThree programs designed for Cyprus Lake area trails. Curriculum links to Grade 7 Geography, but it is fun for any group interested in mapping. A guided version of our My Parks Pass booklet is available and will allow your group to explore the area and activities in more depth and benefit from the expertise of a park interpreter.
GeocachingFive caches along the Burnt Point Trail Loop starting from the Visitors Centre. GPS units available from the park, or use your own Smartphone.
The Visitor Centre boasts a 112-seat theatre featuring 15 minute films of both parks in English and French. Explore the exhibit gallery featuring original artefacts and interactive experiences. You can also climb the 20-metre high viewing tower or hike the trails to the Georgian Bay shoreline
