Pine Lake Picnic – Join parks staff for Wood Buffalo’s 90th birthday celebration beside beautiful blue Pine Lake in the heart of the park. Dene hand games, kids’ games, canoe races, corn-shucking contests, buffalo-chip tossing and much more! Join in the fun and then relax in the Caribbean-blue waters and sandy beaches of Canada’s largest national park’s premier recreation area.
The day is always a success with sun shine, few bugs and accompanied by approximately 300 to 400 community members, visitors, volunteers and staff members
