Backcountry Camping

Backcountry camping is permitted anywhere in the park. Some restrictions apply. There are backcountry campsites located at Rainbow Lakes and Sweetgrass Station . For overnight trips, REGISTER and obtain a park use permit at the Visitor Reception Centre in Fort Smith or Fort Chipewyan. REMEMBER TO NOTIFY THE PARK UPON YOUR RETURN!
