There are three camping options in Terra Nova National Park:

Newman Sound Campground

A large campground with unserviced and electrical sites, washrooms, kitchen shelters, a grocery store, Laundromat, activity centre, playgrounds, communal fire pits, filling and dumping station, and adjacent hiking trails.

Malady Head Campground

A small campground with washrooms, kitchen shelters, playground, filling and dumping station, fire pits on every site hiking trails and nearby day-use area.

To reserve a campsite in Malady Head, please call the park directly at 709-533-2801 (709-533-6774 from July to August only).

Primitive Camping

There are three hiking and boating routes within the park: the Outport trail, Dunphy's Pond trail & a canoe route through Sandy Pond, Beachy Pond & Dunphy's Pond.
