December 21 Annual Christmas Bird Count
Take part in Kouchibouguac’s 47th Annual Christmas Bird Count. It’s a great way to combine your love of bird watching and winter fun. Meet at the park administration between 8 and 9 am. Bring your binoculars and your bird books.
January 14 Il était une fois l’hiver... (Activity offered in French)
On snowshoes or on skis, gather up at the Patterson shelter for a night of storytelling. Departure from Pijeboogwek shelter at around 6:45 pm If you need to rent snowshoes or skis, plan on arriving a bit earlier. Back at around 9 pm. 
January 15 Canada 150 Quiz
Take a break at the Patterson shelter to learn more about our beautiful country. From 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
January 21 Once upon a winter time...
On snowshoes or on skis, gather up at the Patterson shelter for a night of storytelling. Departure from Pijeboogwek shelter at around 6:45 pm If you need to rent snowshoes or skis, plan on arriving a bit earlier. Back at around 9 pm. 
January 22 Canada 150 Rally
Pick up your rally sheet upon arrival at Pijeboogwek and hit the snowshoe or ski trails towards Patterson to test your knowledge on our wonderful country! Rally sheets must be returned by 4 pm to be illegible for prizes.
February 4 Snowshoeing under the stars
Snowshoe outing to Middle Kouchibouguac and sky observations with astronomers from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.  Meet at the Pijeboogwek shelter between 6:30 and 6:45 pm for details and to rent snowshoes if needed. Driving directions to the foot bridge on Route 117, where the outing starts, will be given then. Note: Should you wish to only do the sky observation, get directions to the observation site at Pijeboogwek.
February 5 Treasure Hunt at Patterson
Young and old, come on over and take up challenges and charades that will lead you to the treasure. The activity takes place at the Patterson shelter from 1 pm to 4 pm.
February 8 Official opening of the Ventura Bomber exhibit
On February 8, 1943 a Ventura bomber crashed on land that is now part of Kouchibouguac National Park. Join us in the Visitor Information Centre at 6:30 pm for the official opening of the Ventura bomber exhibit and a talk by Daniel Goguen.
February 10 Under the moon at Patterson
Whether snowshoeing or skiing, join us at the Patterson shelter for stories and songs. Departure from Pijeboogwek at around 7 pm. Arrive earlier if you need to rent skis or snowshoes. Back at around 9:30 pm.
February 12 Ski Bang Boum
We are celebrating Canada 150 along with Flag Day at Kouchibouguac National Park. Surprises, treats, toboganing and much more await at the Patterson shelter. With the collaboration of Boules de neige cross-country ski club. From 1 pm to 4 pm.
February 19 Canada 150 Rally

March 5 Snowshoe Basics with Ocean Trail
Join Mark Hazen, Technical Advisor from Ocean Trail, for Snowshoe Basics. Meet at Pijeboogwek at 1:00 pm for a 3 hour session - 1 hour inside session followed by a 2 hour filled with techniques, tips and treks.
March 10 Who who who’s there?
Discover the night life of owls. Bring a flashlight and meet us at the white tent near Pijeboogwek shelter from 7 pm to 9 pm.
March 11 Hou-hou-hou sont les hiboux? (Activity offered in French)

March 17 Under the crescent moon for St-Patrick’s Day
Snowshoe or ski to Patterson shelter. Do you know the history of the Irish in the area? Wear some green, answer correctly to quiz questions and win small prizes! Departure from Pijeboogwek at around 8 pm. Arrive earlier if you need to rent skis or snowshoes. Back by around 10 pm.
March 19 G’bye Winter, G’day Spring!
At the white tent near Pijeboogwek, drop in for a hot chocolate, a few challenges and learn more about what’s ahead relating to Canada 150 and other activities throughout the season. From 11 am to 3 pm.
