Paddle the Kouchibouguac River
From the dam in Kouchibouguac to Ryans Landing. Travel the same route as the tall masts that were built and launched on the Kouchibouguac River! Bring your own boat (canoe or kayak) and a picnic. Departure expected at 9 a.m., arrival at around 3:30 p.m. depending on your cruising speed! Everyone welcome!

Pedal Kouchibouguac’s Great North!
Ride your bike from the Rivière-du-Portage bridge to the Visitor Center. Along the way, you’ll ride on the "bridge under the bridge", witness interesting forest landscapes along with transitional fields dating from the former Park communities. Meet at 9 a.m. at the parking lot near the bridge for this 25km outing.

The Escuminac Disaster told by a survivor, M. Alphonse Doucet
At the theatre in the Visitor Center. Mr. Doucet was a young teenager when he left the wharf on June 19, 1959. Following his talk, a short film of this tragic moment in history will be shown.

Celebration of Colours — October 10, 11 and 12

Friday, October 10 Campsite Decorating and Pumpkin Carving Contests!
Decorate your campsites following the theme of fall colours! We have a limited amount of pumpkins. Come and get yours at the South Kouchibouguac kiosk starting at 6 p.m. (one pumpkin per campsite!). Judges will go around the campground on Sunday, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
