Winter Activities

Winter in Fundy National Park always has something to offer. It begins in December and usually stretches to the end of March or early April. The influence of the Bay of Fundy and the park’s hills and valleys create many opportunities for the winter outdoor enthusiast. Here is a list of activities for you to try:

	Winter camping
	Cross Country Skiing Short and long trails cross many types of forests and terrain. Novice and experienced skiers will find a route to meet their needs.
	Snowshoeing Follow a beaten path or be the first to cross freshly fallen snow. Fundy’s hiking trails are transformed into a peaceful winter wonderland.
	Sliding/Tobogganing The perfect place to feel the wind on your cheeks and let yourself go. The Headquarters tobogganing hill is a great place for the entire family to spend a weekend afternoon.
	Winter photography and wildlife observation Many choose Fundy to explore and seek out those special places and rare opportunities. Here are a few a suggestions of Fundy’s hidden treasures.
