New! Owl River Canoe Excursions

Offered for the first time in 2013, canoe excursions on the Owl River are a great new way for Canadians to experience Manitoba’s northernmost national park.

Wapusk Leadership Camp - July 4-9, 2013

This year's camp has accepted 15 Manitoban students from Grade 11 (between the ages of 16 and 18) and will be happening from July 4 to 9.

Polar Bears International honours Wapusk National Park for leadership in polar bear conservation

Polar Bears International presented the award in recognition of Parks Canada’s leadership and conservation work in Wapusk National Park, which protects significant polar bear habitat like denning areas in Manitoba.
