Annual Eva Lake Pilgrimage - August

Every August since 1976, visitors join a Parks Canada interpreter for the 12km (round trip) Eva Lake Pilgrimage. Together they photograph and learn about the wildflowers in full bloom and celebrate the relationship between the City of Revelstoke and Mount Revelstoke National Park.

Follow in the footsteps of the first Revelstokians to explore the summit area of Mount Revelstoke. In 1910, before the park was formed, the Revelstoke Mountaineering Club convinced the City of Revelstoke to create a hiking trail from town to the summit. Later, the trail was extended to include Eva Lake, named for club member Eva Hobbs who was the first to see the lake.
